AROUND MY HOME: RANNIE BALIAS/DAVE BLACK

welcome to rannie's apt.
located in williamsburg new york.
she moved here in december, and took over our friend dave's lease while he is working in L.A.
when he comes back months from now she is thinking of taking the upstairs apt. things always just work out for her. good thing her and dave have stayed bff's over the years.
their decor style is very compatible and similar so it works.
ironing board + plants = genius. what kind of plants do you have? for me they have to be cacti or bamboo else they die:(

the perfect desk. the perfect chair. perfect work area.
see the chrisrann jewelry hanging.

the lighting in her room is amazing.

i love this. i want tree's and feathers for a bed!

i've been seeing the flag in the bedroom a lot lately.
you'll see what i mean.
every morning when we wake up we hear the same man singing very LOUD.
don't you love this bed?!! Dave Black made it. that boy has mad skillz...i wonder if jacob could do something like this for us?
i love this apartment and its crown molding, high ceilings, wood floors, windows, sliding doors, and the natural lighting. what do you think?
show me your room? or a room you love! do you have a link?
if you could title this post what would it be called?

later in the week....
dave pacho's room.
bang post.
street style.
outfit posts.
alans playlist.
and more....

that is such a decent bed! i love it.
her apartment is so nice and cute.

the wedding planning is coming along pretty good.
my mom and i have sort of had issues throughout it, because she thinks she's my "wedding planner."
that part has been hard and sucky, but whatever.
also another thing that was hard for us was that we wanted a small wedding, but my parents decided that meant they should invite 120 people...ha.
so basically i just gave up and was like, whatever, anyone can come! MORE GIFTS FOR ME. (just kidding, but maybe not...)
i've also had some issues with a friend regarding the wedding, which is way dumb, but i'll deal!
some parts of it are so icky! i feel weird because it's supposed to be the most exciting time ever, but it's been pretty tough honestly.
josh and i are just super excited to be married and start our life together. when it comes down to it, that's the real happy, important part. and it's what i really care about! :)

thanks for asking! sorry that was super lengthy. ha.

That apartment is amazing! I have always thought making a tree bed would be fun. The feathers make it even better! xoxo

I love the idea of using an old ironing board as a piece of furniture to display things on, and I especially like dark wood things like that! I think the green of her plants looks good against the bright white of her walls.

I would love to have a tree bed like that, and Chris is so crafty I know he could do it, but he never likes my ideas, so I'm not sure what he would think about that!

Thanks for sharing the pictures, it looks like you have a pretty nice place to stay there!

I have this small tree type plant called a money tree, and it's perfect for me because it likes dry soil, so I've had it for probably 6 years and it's still living!

love you, friend!

wow. i am jealous. i'm a total nerd for crown molding! and the ironing board...love! and the bedroom- looks so calm and relaxing. i think i am now inspired to spruce our place up a bit. a plant will be the first step.

thanks for sharing!

The millwork on the walls is spectacular!

I can't grow anything either, Cacti and succulents are about all I have been able to keep alive. I think flowers have suicidal tendencies. Or maybe I make them suicidal.
