OMG I [also] HEART: Great Danes
My little Zeyk-a-peek would have been so upset if he knew I was cheating on him this weekend. I met a Great Dane and fell in love. I think once I get a house, up here in Nashers, I'll get a Great Dane so Zeyk can have a friend/brother. I can just see it now...I'll go to the shelter, look for a Great Dane and fall in love with seven scrappy dogs and leave with ten cuties and have nowhere to put them. I'll have to go in with a super structured plan.
I'm laughing because this dog will give you a hugs on command.
And back down for his treat. Nothing better than cheeps!
See the chocolate lab/pit? He has a cool story...
His name is Coffee. When his owner went to the shelter to look at dogs, he saw coffee by the front desk in a super tiny cage, so naturally he asked why. The man at the shelter said he was suppose to be Euthanized that morning, but he just hadn't had time yet. The owner quickly snatched him up and said "I want him!" He named him Coffee after John Coffey from The Green Mile and he is one awesome dog.

Nachooooo! I want some mexican corn now...you know, the kind with mayo & pico & powdered cheese! yummm! Anywho, I found a dog at my work & my guy kept him...his name is Hunter & I think he's black lab/pit/dane...not sure, but that's what he looks like. I love poopies!
love the story behind coffee! that is so awesome. We have a Boxer that we rescued and he is the biggest, sweetest baby ever - you can tell he appreciates his life now! we also have a 15lb schnoodle and they're totaly bff's... everyone calls them rob & big we love it! :) xo

I used to have a great dane and I adore them so much!!! I want another one, I tried to tell my roommates we should get one but the said no, but someday!!!
loooove great danes! if i thought for a second i could handle one i'd run to the animal shelter immediately, but for now i'll stick to keeping little dogs in my little house.
yeah right, good luck going to a shelter with a plan! i know i could never do it.
great danes are such pretty dogs! actually, i just love all big dogs (but i'm not such a fan of the little foo foo dogs).

i have had 2 great danes. my first was borris. he was a fawn great dane with a perfect black mask. he was my baby.
i then had elsie. she was all black with a white chest. soooo sweet. they're the cutest dogs because they don't realize how HUGE they really are. they think they're lap dogs!! it's so fun!

He's like a horse! I love it! And I'm so happy he was able to be rescued. :)
