Our NEW House:

Built in 1920. I love how much character old houses have. My favorite homes are from 1950's and 1960's. But for now this one will definitely do! It has livingroom, dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, lots of closets, washer and dryer room with more storage,  washer /dryer, dishwasher, a brand new central AC, and a cute front porch! Oh and 1/2 a mile from the sunchild (work) woo hoo! Forgive me if I haven't been interacting to much lately. I made a rule, no internet in our house until I get everything unpacked and organized....here's a little glimpse of our house.
The walls look yellow bc of the lighting but they are NOT. This is the living room, the front door is right behind me.
Then walk through the swinging door to get to the kitchen. I love my kitchen! It's so bright and white!

This room connects to the kitchen, This is going to be the office/craft space of Bueno Bueno.
love the built in shelves and all the storage this house has. Aren't these windows killer? (biggest room in house) This room is a disaster right now! eeek I feel like it's taking forever to organize!
This room will be guest room/my closet/ ? all the rooms have 2 closets, which we need for sure!
right now this room is filled with unpacked boxes! OVERWHELMING!
the lighting in the house is amazing!
This room is our bedroom and Jacob gets the 2 closets in here.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Help! This is our bathroom, that is not our curtain, we already took it down, bc i have a clear one with pockets.
I am used to a bathroom the size of a bedroom, so it's going to take some time to get used to this size...I like it anyway.
Love the Laundry door, and all the fixtures in here:)
yay! I love the little phone alcove. i already put some books and a vintage telephone here. I love how in old movies the people  had to go to the hallway and talk on the one phone in the house.

Do you live in a house, apartment, condo, loft, duplex? What do you prefer?

so cute!

i love all the built-ins and the honeycomb tile counters. houses built around the 20's are my favorite, and yet i live in a house built in 1960! sounds like we should trade :).

i can't wait to see what you guys do with the place - i'm so excited for you!

Now THIS I like! What a great old home. We live in a 1914 2 storey and I wouldn't trade an old house for a new one for ANYTHING. Old homes all had their own signature - totally unique even if they had similar elements. Your home is serious - I can't wait to see how you decorate!

Holy wow, supercute house! I'm a little jealous :O Pretty big rooms and cute kitchen :) We just moved from a 3 bedroom house to a 1 bedroom apt. - big adjustment, but I think it's good to change things up every now and then ;) I miss having a backyard the most to let my dogs run in. We live in Austin though and closer to family so all's good :D Congrats on your new home!

Congrats!!! This is an awesome and huge house! I've always lived in a house here in Buenos Aires, but I'll live in a condo once in California. I'm curious to see how I'll interact with our neighbors, because I'm not a people person and here rarely have to greet anybody, hehe.

Please, keep posting pictures of your new home! It's adorable! :D

I want a house just like this!!!!!
I love love colors and all the storage!!!! And I agree with you! I love that in the older movies they had one telly and had to stand there to talk to the person on the line. I don't like cordless phones. Its too easy to multi-task and not really talk to the person you're on the phone with!!!
Can't wait to see how you decorate your abode!!!!!
Have a merry day!!!!

Cute house! I love 1920s houses like that. The kitchen was probably redone in the 60s. Normally houses back then wouldn't have had such huge awesome kitchens.

You should post outside pics and a house tour when it's all finished.

Why can't we have houses like that in Vegas?!
Your Bueno studio is going to be legit. You should make your own confetti system to hang from the ceiling.

I live in a tiny apartment right now. I am so jealous of your gorgeous hardwood floors. My mom's house was made in the 1950's and OH how I miss those floors. Congrats on your new place! I know the process of turning into a home can be daunting but I'm sure it will turn out lovely!

I live in a beauty of a beast of a house...An arts and crafts style flat built in 1922! My husband and I have made this beast into a beauty over the past 8 years. We remodeled 700 square feet of glorious attic space into a master bedroom/bath/office/creative space...it is truly our castle. Overall the house has 6,000 sq. feet. Our tenant is a wonderful man from spain who is a professor at a local university. He has been with us for 6 years.
Old homes rule and rock!
Enjoy yours!
