HAIR TUTORIAL: Braided Crown

This is the perfect hairstyle for people who love the bed head look. This look is meant to be loose and messy so just play around with it. If you have curly hair this is perfect for you, if you have straight hair, i recommend curling or teasing it to add some texture to it and hold in place better. Sometimes super straight hair is too slick. Kelly has naturally wavey (crazy hair) shhh. We used 1 bobby pin and did not use any product in this post.

Alot of you have been emailing me questions and requests for hair posts...I am not ignoring them, we are working hard to make a video for your every need. Coming soon, we have a teasing tutorial and products recommended for flat fine hair.

You are so stinkin' cute. I love this hair style. I saw your sister's tutorial and have been rocking it as often as I can. You own it though.

maybe i'm just dumb. :(
but i'm super confused on how to gather the hair?
like, when you're going around the back, i can't tell what you're doing.

you just gather random hair into your 3 strands like french braiding but not in a neat way...you are NOT dumb

reminds me of the hair in one of the fall free people look books. my poker straight hair is laughing - it would never stay and i would like a milkmaid that took a few too many rolls in the hay.
but its very cute on kelly!! love your hair posts!

i do braids all the time. i love them because it doesn't take much time, but it still lookds good.

Boo! I can't watch the video because "it contains content from Sony Music Entertainment, who has blocked it in my country due to copyright grounds" :(.

Loved the pictures, though.

love it. I have only been rocking the braid (such as today) to control the mess under a beanie! ha!
Trying this soon. Do you think it would work with bangs if I just pulled hair from further back on my crown? hmmm....

so.. i already told you (brandi) via twitter that i tried this and i loooved it.. but like 4 people just in my apartment complex alone today told me they loved my hair and asked me how to do it!!

anyhoo i just wanted to thank you again and tell you i love this because:

1) it's so easy and cute
2) it's perfect for super dirty messy hair (like mine often is)
and 3) i've re-done it just for funsies a few times and it looked different every time, but always cute!

Oh my goodness this is so perfect. I can tell she has reallll thick hair {like me} so I can't wait to try this! It's just going to be hard trying to do it on myself; it's way easier when someone else braids your hair haha.

Y'all are so cute <3

Holy Crap! Hair Crown are my favorite kinds of crowns! I figure if you're gonna wear a crown it might as well literally grow out of your head.

Seriously tho really do love those wrap around braids.
