Right now I am in a clothing funk. I don't want to go shopping because I don't know what I am even looking for. I am tired of all my clothes but yet I can't get rid of them.
I wish I could just wear a uniform to work sometimes...maybe I will create one for myself and just wear white tee shirts/ denim / boots or loafers at the salon.
Does anyone ever feel like whatever is in style at the moment doesn't look good on their body type? Because that's me most the time. I wish I just had a personal shopper/ stylist so I didn't have to think
about that right now.

Things I actually need to find:
- something to wear for a michigan wedding in a week.
- something to wear to a wedding this weekend.
- more white tee shirts that drape perfect.
- the perfect boots for winter.
- more pants like mc hammer hahaha...but seriously.

If you have any links to share please send them my way! I am too busy to even look on my own. We only have 4 days left until we open Do or Dye and there is still so much to be done!!! I might be losing my mind right now!

I totally feel you on the clothing funk. I think I'm just in a funk in general. I hate all of my clothes, I hate the way I look. Sigh. I love your lip color, btw.

Totally feel you on the whole 'trends not working on your body' feeling. For me its a personal style thing too. I love all the ladies that dive right in with the fifties and sixties vintage looks, they're awesome, but whenever I try it, it just doesn't feel right on my tomboy self. I know you're a fan of TomBoy Style, I have definitely been using that site as a reference. Good luck with the salon opening! I'm sure it's mind blowingly hectic, but also awesome too!

i have the same exact list of things i actually need to shop for, but have been avoiding. having a personal stylist would be my dream. whatever you find to wear at these weddings you should do a post on them!

Girl, I think you have the best personal style but I totally feel you on trying to buy what is in style yet looks good on. White tee's & boots/loafers are always a great choice though! Cognac leather for life! =) Also, I love the bright colors in that men's shirt on you. I love that look but haven't found one that fun yet.

I love yoir choice of words on this funky feeling bringing itself into your closet. Ditto sister. I feel awkward and old (25+) wearing “trends” because I don’t want to be a walking ad put together at pacsun. Pick your staples (i.e. Your perfect orange lipstick), white tees, dark denim, good leather belts, and then be crazy with shoes, purses, and jewerly. I think your skin tone and colors are so earthy. You are a natural boho;) Work it.

Yup...totally been feeling that way lately. I don't like anything in my closet, but don't know what the hell I would actually like to wear even if I had it. I need a makeover ha
