Birthday Plans: Breakfast & Beach
Gift: Surf Camp in June. I am bummed because the place we were going to book for sure has a State Department Travel Advisory (Nicaragua) right now. So now I need to find another legit Surf Camp. I'm thinking of one in Costa Rica or Hawaii. Can anyone recommend one? Please!
Twenty five years ago my birthday looked like this....
1987 Age 6.
Pizza
Lots of snacking
Barbie Dolls
Dance Parties
Sliding down the stairs in pillow cases and sleeping bags
Watching movies
Trying to stay awake as long as we possible can
Pranks
Story telling
I wish I could find the photo's of the morning after. They are so funny, almost like we are hung over from sodas and junk food. I came downstairs with my snuggles wearing my parents oversized Bruce Springsteen shirt. You can see I already have it on to sleep in (last photo). I think I peaked at 6.

my uncle lives in quepos, costa rica. when i went they had people on the beach doing lessons all day. costa rica is stunning and he told me realy good for surfing, i am just not sure the time of year you have to go :(

Happy Birthday lady! I'm sorry to hear of your surf camp troubles, I hope you find something! AND I love how aggressive the cake-eating is in these photos. And the sly look in the third photo on the left. too funny!
hahaha i was wondering if you ever went to bed since you texted me so early! [it didn't wake me up, though] have a rad birthdaY!
i lived in costa rica where the surfing was great! a bunch of friends still live there and surfing is their life. i can give a bunch of recommdations of places to surf and places to stay... we used to get up at like 4 or 5am and go all around to places. usually i just paddleboarded or sunned myself though.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUNSHINE !!! I still remember that slumber party for your birthday. That was right before we moved to Colorado for two years. It's funny how sometime's when we are together, I still remember you like those pictures. Time sure has flown by.
