When we couldn't stuff our bellies anymore Ryder and I headed to Galveston to see the Bacquet Family. This was perfect because Ryder loves playing with Tan and Tay + we get to go to the Beach, WIN WIN! This was much needed as I missed my Bacquet Gang. After hanging at Kassi's for a bit, the kids started to get hungry again so we hit up Sunflower Cafe. Two hours later, after a very family circus style lunch we headed down the seawall to find a perfect spot. This was the best idea to the kids run wild and burn off some energy. The twins fell asleep on the way to the beach so we let them stay dreaming in the van. That sounds bad but we were literally right outside of the van with the doors open. This gave Kass and I the opportunity to act a fool and play with the bigger kids. The beach is that one spot I think where everyone can feel carefree and young again, even if just for a day.
