SURFY SUNDAYS/// California

It's simple, buy a plane ticket and pack only what you need. The greatest gift none of us truly exercise daily is our freedom. We have so much bondage in life: bondage to plans, money, jobs, etc. Sure, as young adults we are called to exercise responsibility, but adventure, isn't there something mysterious about the word itself? Tim and I showed up to California with not much more planned than to be in the ocean. Along the way we got a personal tour of Capitol Records, met the owners of our favorite surf company, Almond Surfboards, and befriended them so well they loaned us a few longboards. We shared meals and good drinks with old friends. We saw Rob Bell hanging at his local surf shop. We coffee crawled. We video apprenticed with Russell Brownley. Above all we got some ridiculous time to praise the creator of the universe- for His beauty in design was undeniable" -Michael Stevenson

A MUCHO BUENO PLAYLIST/// Leaf Peepin'

I've spent the past couple of weeks driving up and down the roads out East. I had never been on the East coast during Fall before this trip and I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Winding roads through the mountains, leaves of every color falling, good tunes, new adventures, and great company.  It was perfect like some kind of crazy dream. Here's a playlist for the next time you find yourself driving in good company.
