FIX YO MOP /// Let's get Knotty

You probably have already seen this challenge if you follow me on Instagram /// @BuenoBrandi

We have been getting lots of hair requests and I have been thinking about the best way to share some inspiration and I thought it would be super fun to get everyone to join in. Once a week we will post a different way to style your hair, and if you like it then you can try it, take a pic and post on Instagram. If you don't have an Instagram you can still join the fun and I hope you do. This challenge is for Kelly and I as well because we definitely get in that rut of just top knotting it or wearing a hat all the time.

How To ///
Take any two sections of hair and start knotting as tight or loose as you want, then secure with bobby pin or elastic band. I like mine messy so you can tease your two sections before you knot it or mess with the knots after to rough them up.

In My Hair ///
Dry shampoo because I only wash my hair once a week now.
Hair Resort for that extra texture and wonderful coconut beach scent.

FIX YO MOP: FISHTAIL BRAID

 

A lot of you asked me to do a tutorial on FISHTAILS. And we all know "If you ask, you shall receive!" Well... we hope right? My mom used to do these braids on us all the time when we were growing up. She still does them on me when I feel like having my hair played with, which is rare because I can't sit still for too long, much less have someone else do my hair. Control freak much? Uh yeah just a little.

So... I thought for this video we can start with the basics. 

Easy. Messy. Fishtail. Teased. No rubber band needed.
