Finally, continuing on with my West Coast Tour stories... Day 3 of traveling with my lady love, Amanda Shires, landed us in a little place called San Luis Obispo. Load in was mega early, so I had some time to wander around. I didn't have to take many steps to find this treasure, Bubble Gum Alley. It actually dates back quite a few decades, however it's exact beginnings are a little fuzzy.

Of course that amount of bubblegum in one location is rad, but then I noticed that people started leaving behind their memories through photos and handwritten notes and I was overwhelmed with excitement. I told Pearl (Amanda) and Caitlin that we had to leave our own notes!

As I previously mentioned, I was out of town for two weeks traveling around the west coast. I flew out to California a few days early to hang out with our bud, Lonnie Webb, but the real reason I was out there is the little lady sitting on John Wayne (photo above). My lady friend, Amanda Shires, who does a great job of pulling me out my normal shy routine, invited me to join her and the gang for some music and fun along the west coast. My duties included photographing EVERYTHING, slinging merch, and '#boom' ing folks... If you follow my twitter account @iheartbueno, you may know what that means.

Day 1 of me joining her on tour started in Hollywood at The Music Box. The line up was Caitlin Rose, Jason Isbell + The 400 Unit, and Justin Townes Earle. Before everything got rolling, we took a stroll around town and then landed back at the venue for a killer show.
