Denim Madewell

image image image image image image image image Yesterday started out bright and sunny, I got two runs in,  picked Kelly up from the airport, and then the sky turned grey and heavily poured. I love staying in on rainy days but we really wanted to try on some of the new fall line at Madewell. Yesterday was also the last day to enter the #DenimMadewell #contest. Did any of you enter? Winner gets a $1500 gift card and be featured in a card set by Artifact Uprising. We submitted a couple photos on instagram @BuenoBrandi @Iheartbueno

*Last photo of the boots are not from Madewell, I've just been eyeing these and had to make a stop in Free People. Aren't they awesome!?

What Fall items are you most looking forward to? For us I think its all about sweaters, comfy high/ slouchy socks, and Boots! It's going to be awhile before it gets cold where we live.

FIX YO MOP /// Hat Hair

(photos pulled from pinterest)

We can't get enough of hats. We probably wear hats 1-2 times on any given week.
Hats are an instant solution for our bed head, and when we are rushing to be somewhere and want to look pulled together. We were influenced early on by Audrey, Tony Alva, Blossom, and Indiana Jones.  If you wanna go back even further we've been getting inspiration from Wyatt Earp, Davy Crockett, and the Eskimo's! I know I know, I'm all over the place but so is fashion and it just keeps recycling. Thank God for the original OG's.

For this weeks Hair Challenge we will be throwing on hats. So curl your hair, wear it straight, tease it up, braid it, pony it, topsy tail it, but just promise you will have some fun with your hat. Show us your Hat hair on Instagram by posting your photo and using Hashtag #BuenoBuenoHairFun #Doordyetxhairchallenge

Last weekend, my pal Derry texted me to let me know he was playing a show in Houston at Warehouse Live Saturday night. I packed a bag and Hauled myself and Zeyk out of the country and into town. I started the evening with my friend Yvette at an easy going dinner party with wine and good company. As the evening progressed, we let folks know we were going to see Jason Isbell + The 400 Unit and Dawes play. At that moment half the dinner party decided to come with us. I have never seen Warehouse Live packed out and participating so much for the opening act before. The boys absolutely killed it. I just wish their set could have been a little longer. After the show, a few of us hopped around downtown and acted a fool.

Tonight Jason Isbell + The 400 Unit will be playing The Belmont in Austin, Texas. If you are anywhere near Austin, you should probably go check it out :)

Also tonight, Vaden Todd Lewis (Toadies fans?) is playing a sold out show at the Stash factory. I love live music.

What are your plans this weekend? Any shows or events in your area?
