We've been in our home for a little over two weeks now, it feels great but we still have so much to do. With crazy schedules and Jacob being out of town it hasn't left us much time to get situated and really settled in. The only plans we made for July 4th was to find a Mattress, Bed, and new TV (RIP Flat Screen) since we knew there would be some awesome SALES! First we purchased our new Mattress, we went with the alcove plush king, never had a king size bed so we were really excited. It feels like we went everywhere to find the best deals, I started to fade after a couple hours and Jacob kept us going. We finally decided on  THIS BED, This ENTRY WAY CONSOLE, and THIS MEDIA CONSOLE.

We still have lists and lists of what we need to get but we are going to get them over the next few months because we do not want to put anything on credit and we do not want to rush our decisions. We are on the hunt for the perfect bar stools for our island, and a couple of rugs so if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

WHO would you go with /// Anybody, there is something for everyone, even your friends who don't drink. I would even come alone because the bartenders are awesome and there is always someone sitting at the bar to strike up a conversation with. Lately I have been trying to do things that scare me and going up talking to strangers is one of those things. I challenge you to go somewhere alone and start a conversation with someone. 

WHAT to order /// THE HOLY MOTHER IS MY FAV!!! I'm not a cocktail person but I am obsessed with this drink, its spicy and perfect. I love their coffee drinks for mornings or mid day but this time when I arrived I had already had 4 cups of coffee so we ordered Virgin Bloody Mary's and Topo Chicos. No I am not preggo I just didn't want to day drink. 

WHEN /// You can seriously come here morning, mid day, happy hour, or late night! If you get hungry walk across the street to Tacos a Go Go!

WHERE /// Double Trouble is located Downtown Houston on 3622 Main St. 

WHY /// Sometimes it's hard to get work done when your at home so this is a perfect place to go sit and work on your computer while drinking coffee and creative concoctions virgin or with alcohol. Need to meet up with a friend? First date? Drinks before a show at Continental club? Just come check it out it's awesome. (rooftop photos not at Double Trouble)
